DRP Surgery, minimally invasive – maximum comfort, is an initiative of Rajesh S. Padmanabhan, MD, FACS (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons) and certified by the ABS (American Board of Surgery).
India-born Dr Padmanabhan grew up in Kansas and completed his undergraduate and medical school and University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr. Padmanabhan’s general surgery residency was at the University of Kansas in Wichita, Kansas.
In 1991, Dr Padmanabhan joined the United States Air Force as a reservist and stayed in this capacity until the year 2000. He joined Active Duty at this time until the end of 2004. He was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 spending time at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey. He won several military honors including the Meritorius Service medal and the Garcia Award for patient care excellence.
He moved to Texas in 2005. Since then, he has been practicing in the Arlington and Dallas areas. He operates at several facilities in the Arlington and Dallas areas.
